Next time you’re out #onRobson, be sure to look up and see our new banners; a true labour of love for us. Working with local illustrator and author, Renske Werner, we created colourful and whimsical designs that are perfect for spring and summer. The mix of bright tones and florals really pop against the urban streetscape.
Renske is originally from Holland, but moved to Vancouver for an adventure, and after finding love she ended up calling this place home. She is a mom of three, enjoys good coffee, stories, European and local design, as well as the natural beauty of Vancouver. Most days, you can find her writing and illustrating at The Aviary.
Following the creative design process, we collaborated with Big Bold Beautiful Banner Company to bring our illustrations to life in the form of street banners. Founded in 1987, Big Bold Beautiful Banner Company has been producing and designing world-class banner and flag art design. Located locally in Delta, they provide a full service design department, colour lab and sewing department. We have been working with them for years!
