Embracing Canada Exhibit

What: This exhibit features landscapes from Krieghoff to the Group of Seven
VFCS Umbrella Campaign
When: November 10 from 7:30 to 10am
Where: Burrard Station, Granville and Georgia, Granville Station and Waterfront Station
What: The Vancouver Firefighters’ Charitable Society is helping us stay dry with their umbrella campaign. 100% of proceeds from the sales of umbrellas ($10 each) and Clif bars ($2 each) will go towards the VFCS Snack Program which provides over 60 thousand snacks to school children in Vancouver each year.
Joe Fortes 30th Anniversary Party
When: November 10 at 6:30pm
Where: Joe Fortes
What: Celebrate Joe’s 30th anniversary with live entertainment, wine and beer tasting, fresh oysters and gourmet canapes. Contact Norma Cisneros at events@joefortes.ca for tickets. Proceeds from the event will be going towards the Vancouver Firefighters’ Charitable Society.
