We’ve fully embraced autumn and are appreciating all the special moments this wonderful season brings; vividly coloured streets and cityscapes, crunching leaves underfoot, crisp walks, cinnamon-spiced candles, hot cups of tea, cozy fireside nights, and meals with friends and families that fill our bellies and our hearts. So much to be grateful for as we approach Thanksgiving this weekend.
And while we love eating all of the traditional Thanksgiving goodies (especially pumpkin pie or any pumpkin-flavoured dessert for that matter), the preparation and dreaded post-meal clean-up can be all-consuming. We feel this precious time can be better spent with loved ones, so this year, we’ve decided to leave the cooking to the pros. If you’re also on Team No-Fuss, No-Muss, then check out our handy list of restaurants #onRobson that are serving up Thanksgiving meals with all the fixings, available for dine-in or take out.

Perhaps you are one of the fortunate ones and instead of preparing the Thanksgiving feast, you’ve been invited as a guest to sit back, relax and indulge in the feast. Well, lucky you, but you must not show up empty-handed. There are plenty of fall-inspired treats #onRobson perfect for your hostess with the mostess!
We personally love Ladurée’s Pumpkin Tart, a delicately sweet and buttery tartlet filled with pumpkin compote, topped with pumpkin crémeux and pecan nuts. Or if you prefer a little variety (it is the spice of life, of course), then choose a selection of decadent desserts from Breka, such as their pumpkin cheesecake, mini pumpkin or banoffee tart. We’ll take one of each, please!
Just thinking about all this food is instantly making our mouths’ water and our waistlines’ expand. Only two more days until the weekend (no pressure), so get your Thanksgiving plans in order, pull out those stretchy pants and schedule in plenty of nap times along with turkey trots around the neighbourhood. While you’re #onRobson, make sure to visit our festive fall displays created by Jaleh of Jevents Planning and Design at the Blue Horizon Hotel and the Banana Republic bus stop.
Gobble till you wobble and let the gourd times roll, friends! All kidding aside, we hope this Thanksgiving is filled with love, light, gratitude and of course good food and company.
