Vancouver Events: Looking Back at 2019 #onRobson

Happy new year! We’re excited for the year ahead, but we can’t help but reflect on what a great 2019 it was #onRobson.

We welcomed several new businesses to the street, including COS, Blossom Dim Sum & Grill, Jenjudan, Prime’s Thai Tea, Subway, Share Tea, One Pot, and Milksha. A new development also broke ground at 1067 Robson Street and will house another flagship tenant.

We hosted numerous special events and street activations, such as our Tree of Good Fortune for Lunar New Year, VanCupid for Valentine’s Day, Canada Day, Summer Dance Series, Mistletoe Kisses and Winter’s Dance that made Robson Street fun and festive.

We added two new parklets to the street and completely redesigned our first, much-loved Urban Pasture Parklet, in partnership with the City of Vancouver, Saje, D’oro Gelato and Café Crepe. Our first ever private patio #onRobson was installed by Cactus Club Cafe and was a popular summer time space.

Garden of Plenty, a colourful mural was painted on the Plenty building by well-known local artist, Tierney Milne.

Canvas Corridor, a collaboration with the Downtown Vancouver BIA, transformed 45 laneway doors and vents into works of art featuring 27 local artists.

Our winter lighting program was revamped with new dual pole mounts, which made Robson Street merry and bright this holiday season.

We are excited for 2020 and look forward to creating many more memorable and unique experiences #onRobson.
