While the 2018 Winter Olympics are in full swing in PyeongChang, Korea, there is definitely an undeniable Olympic spirit in the air here in Vancouver as we cheer on Team Canada. Glued to our TV’s and smartphones to catch glimpses of Olympic highlights stirs up nostalgia for the days when our city had the great honour to play host city in 2010. Vancouver was a perpetual sea of red Canadian pride, with people wearing the Canadian flag loud and proud, singing the national anthem from the stadium to the street. The epic energy and magical excitement felt in Vancouver during the Winter Olympics has been unparalleled to anything experienced by this city before.
