On December 1st and 2nd, Winter’s Dance #onRobson returns to kick off the holiday season! Presented by the Robson Street Business Association (RSBA), ‘The Snow Queen’ will take centre stage at 1155 Robson Street at 6 p.m. each night.
In collaboration with Small Stage, a local non-profit dance organization, a short, whimsical story about a Snow Queen and her kingdom has been created that will be projected onto the John Robson Building creating a winter wonderland amidst the hustle and bustle of Robson Street. Performances will be repeated every 15 minutes throughout the evening until 9 p.m. each night and will include a live activation in the window of 1151 Robson Street.
Winter’s Dance will also have a first of its kind: an augmented reality dance scavenger hunt “Small Stage: Snowflake find”. Unlock all dancers to be entered to win dinner for two at CinCin and two tickets to The Nutcracker at Queen Elizabeth Theater.
To add to the holiday experience, extra cheer will be served up with hot cups of cocoa and sweet treats for spectators in need of warming up and refueling. Please note that Robson Street will remain open to vehicle traffic.
