Experience a little piece of Paris by stepping into the new Ladurée Boutique and Tea Salon located at 1141 Robson Street, opening Thursday, March 24th at noon.
Ladurée is infamous for creating the world’s most delectable macarons, and with stores in 36 cities across Europe, Asia and North America, Robson Street will be home to the first Canadian Ladurée. We couldn’t be more excited for this wonderful addition to the Street.
Ladurée has a rich history, dating back to 1862, when Louis Ernest Ladurée opened up a bakery on 16 Rue Royale in Paris, and which the new Robson Street store draws much of its design inspiration. Imagine marble-topped gold counters filled with macarons and pastries, paneled walls depicting the four seasons, and lyre back chairs in shades of rose and almond green (le sigh). You might just forget you’re in Vancouver!
The Ladurée Boutique and Tea Salon will offer twelve macaron flavours (including the famous Marie-Antonette Tea flavour), as well as five seasonal flavours. And specially for the Vancouver opening, a maple syrup macaron will be available. The store will be open seven days a week, 10 am to 9 pm. In addition to macarons, the patisserie will offer an exclusive menu of sweet and savoury delights, along with jams and home décor.
