Vancouver Events: Canada Day #onRobson

On Monday, July 1st from 1 to 5 PM, Robson Street sidewalks between Burrard and Denman will be filled with the sights, sounds and tastes of live music, entertainment, kids’ activities, delicious fare, business promotions and more! Everyone is welcome, so be sure to join us in celebrating Canada Day #onRobson!

Here’s what’s happening:
Taking the stage at 1025 Robson Street from 1-5pm is Trilojay, a three piece band that is all about the experience of music! Trilojay is always ready to fill the dance floor and keep it crowded till the last downbeat.

If you’re looking for a high energy, sing-out-loud experience, check out the Dueling Pianos at 1125 Robson Street and you can sing and dance along all afternoon!

Enjoy a colourful and fun outdoor family lounge area at Bute Robson Plaza, complete with live music, face painting, balloon twisting, photo booth and giant games. Michael Averill and the Bathtub Sidecar will be jamming out in the plaza, an improvisational musical troupe – making up songs on the spot based on audience suggestions, drawings, and interviews with random strangers.

In Eihu Lane (between CB2 and Shenanigans), experience live music by Queer as Funk and Space Elevator, dance performances by Small Stage, and enjoy a bite or two from Buddha-full food truck.

At Cardero and Robson, enjoy live entertainment at the G&F Financial Group stage while filling up on Cajun fries, lobster rolls, rice boxes and more from The Holy Crab Canada

The Whole Foods Market parking lot will be transformed into a Family Zone and will feature live music performances, interactive games, and a BBQ.

At the Jervis Street Hockey Zone, watch local teams compete to win the Timber trophy! Put your skills to the test, win prizes, and get your BBQ fix!

Check out the six popular food trucks that will be joining us #onRobson:
Açai Dude
Reef Runner
